ANECA ACCREDITATION
ANECA will accredit TU and CU professors by branches of knowledge (Arts and Humanities; Sciences; Health Sciences; Social and Legal Sciences and Engineering and Architecture). As specified in Article 3: "The accreditation will be effective throughout the national territory to compete for the body to which it refers, in the branch or branches of knowledge in which the accredited has been positively evaluated". Therefore, in order to apply for positions of PDI civil servant (TU and CU) it is necessary that the candidate is accredited in the branch of knowledge to which the position is assigned.
For those interdisciplinary scientific fields, ANECA foresees "procedures so that applicants who develop a specialization of multidisciplinary nature or in interdisciplinary scientific fields in which two or more different branches concur may, as a result of the same evaluation process, be accredited in more than one branch".
This circumstance does not affect AYUD and CD accreditations; accreditation for these figures is universal, so they are not linked to any branch of knowledge.
