Dr. Alejandro Lucas, Dr. Eloy García, and Mr. Javier Martínez took part, together with researchers from the LoUISE group of the I3A, in the BACSI Technology Demonstration Conference, held on March 18 and 19 at the Maestranza Aérea de Albacete.
During the event, they presented an innovative multimodal intelligent platform designed for real-time monitoring of well-being and cognitive performance. The system integrates portable electroencephalography (EEG) technologies, physiological sensors, and environmental monitoring through IoT devices.
The developed solution combines these data sources with advanced artificial intelligence models capable of analyzing key variables such as attention, mental workload, and the user’s cognitive state in real operational environments. This real-time analysis capability enables precise and continuous assessment of an individual’s condition without the need for invasive methods.
This approach represents a significant step forward toward continuous human performance evaluation systems, particularly in contexts where decision-making and well-being are critical factors. Potential applications include high-demand environments such as aviation, defense, and complex industrial sectors.
Participation in BACSI reinforces the role of the I3A as a benchmark in the development of intelligent technologies applied to human behavior analysis and strengthens the UCLM’s commitment to research in artificial intelligence and advanced systems.
